большеWhat is the wall cladding Principle?
The wall cladding Principle as of today
owes much of its facilitation and implementation to farmers and other men of
the past. The term Wall cladding referred to as rain screens by most had its
emergence in the 1960s but can further be dated back to the 19th century.
It’s a herculean or rather inconceivable
task for any building designer to preventer the exterior wall surface of any
structure from getting wet nor guarantee that no openings would be present to
permit the passage of water. Methods or plans though have been out in place to
ensure there is control of rainwater penetration through walls by incorporating
an air chamber system to preventing wetting of the actual wall during any
scenario. Even though the outer layer gets wet, the air pressure between the outer
layer and the actual wall serves as a cooling procedure.
The air pressure difference between the
exterior and actual wall results in air currents which in return carries water
into the wall. Techniques and designs of the past have this flaw as individuals
never really considered air pressure as a potential method for carriage and
deposition of water thereby allowing water penetration, but studies over time
have shown that this is the case.
What
is a Wall cladding System?
Wall claddings use the principle based in
the subset of the screened or drained category on wall designs taking into
account air pressure as a major factor for consideration.
The hallmark of this system is its ability
to regulate air pressure thereby also allowing for ventilation in the process,
the major components of this include;
1. An outer layer serving as a screen
(cladding material).
2. A Pressure Equalization Chamber (PEC)
sealed at strategic angles.
3. An opening or vent connecting the air
chamber and the outside.
Other components of an effective wall
cladding system may include, joints and air vents, air and moisture barriers,
drainage channels, and waterproof insulation among others.
MATERIAL OVERVIEW
Kiln fired terracotta has been known as a
beautiful and long-lasting construction material for buildings over the years.
With the resurgence of rain screens, it has also been implemented into the
movement due to its natural quality and structure. Terracotta which can be
remolded into various thickness and length makes it the perfect material for
creating the perfect aesthetic look.
LOPO terracotta
Established in 2002 LOPO Terracotta Corporation has all the technological advancements and in-depth knowledge to
facilitate the wall cladding process.
LOPO terracotta Corporation has major
operations concerned mainly with the manufacturing and marketing of terracotta
cladding and panel system.
Facilitated with 3 factories located in
Fujian province, LOPO terracotta continues to innovate and currently has a
production line that cuts across terracotta panels, terracotta bricks, and the
custom LOPO artificial culture stone.
LOPO terracotta has an excellent
engineering team of skilled workers who work around the clock to ensure there
is optimum production success rate as well as competent researchers to help
take note of new trends and the best means of action to further improve on the
already efficient products available to meet the customers’ requirements,
whatever they may be.
OEM orders are also welcome and with a
professional team on the ground, quality control measures are always also in
place in case of the need for any contingency plans.
With no addition fibers to serve as a
solidification means, LOPO terracotta is all natural.
Tested and trusted over the years, Products
exceed all standards. Terracotta isn’t a new product but with LOPO terracotta,
terracotta panels and terracotta claddings are crafted to meet the modern
status.
